It looks like my finger is bleeding - It isn't, I just doodle a vast amount.

Over the Easter break, I made it my mission to complete the book. I honestly loved it. I thought it was 1000x better than A Fault In Our Stars - a book that I stopped reading about 8 pages till the end as I found that I was just forcing myself to read it at that stage (I also disliked the film - of course I liked the idea of having my very own Augustus Waters). 

I always seem to be the last one to catch on the trends etc and TFIOS was one of them however this book seemed different. At no stage did I think I was wasting my time reading it. Despite the plot being predictable and slightly unrealistic, I loved the fact that I could relate so much to it - without actually have ever been in situations like that myself. It was as if I knew the main characters in real life. 

Whilst reading this book, I took a lot from it. It made me realise a number of different things and made me think in depth. I loved the way it was written and structured.

My favorite quotes being:

'If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane'

'The sum of our parts cannot begin and cannot end, and so it cannot fail'

'We cannot be born and we cannot die. Like all energy...'

This was a book that I could have written about for hours.
